Robotars on Ch7 in Philippines
VIDEO-DESCRIPTION: MANILA, Philippines - Over a dozen local artists placed a green spin on the Robotic Tarsier (Robotars), an art toy designed by architect-artist Jomike Tejido, to help promote environmental awareness. Among them is Redworks Manila's Gilbert Ibanez who designed Zakitar, a Robotar that "takes in dew from its mouth to grow hydrophonic plants in its body." ~ "Zakitar is my first real custom toy, my baptism of fire.
