Tokyo Genso: Images of Tokyo After The Apocalypse

Post-Apocalypse never looked so hauntingly gorgeous as it does with Tokyo Genso's image-scapes of scenery devastated and left to life-rot around Tokyo Japan. Photoshop painted over actual photographs, these series of images apparently appeared on the www circa 2009 (yes, I am slow but I will eventually get "there" :p). Shown above is "Shinjuku" while below is "Haneda Airport".

Looking very much like backdrops for anime movies (although I have a sudden urge to watch "Logan's Run"), you can still view some of the images on DeviantART gallery (his blog currently is a vacant husk, ironically). After a bit of googling, more images via michaeljohngrist.com.
