I was going to go all Top-Ten on a list of "Japanese Anime what needs to be made into "live-action" Movies", when this image of COBRA The Space Pirate turned up on ComingSoon.net - and it simply looks just too-cool for retro-cartoon-skool!

ComingSoon-reports: "Sale artwork to promote director Alexandre Aja's next project - a live-action adaptation of the popular cartoon Cobra: The Space Pirate - has appeared on the front page of Variety's international edition. The art was created to drum up interest at the Cannes Film Festival."
