First feature for today? "
The Fright Squad"! A set of customized Tokidoki Unicornos - each features a unique laser cut wings and eyes (the wings are fully jointed allowing for them to have a full wing span). Priced at £35, this is their story:
The fright squad were nothing short of a fucked up accident.
Hydralabs had started experimentation in the market of small droids, designed primarily to carry supplies from site to site via air in a format that was appealing and unthreatening to civilians as to avoid suspicion while retaining minimal hydra branding to at least temporarily stop them from being shot down by resilience groups.
Yet they became a much greater resource than they had originally imagined. Lab scientists had originally planned to run the creations on a fusion based nuclear format, a standard energy source for most of their machines.
At least until some twat forgot to place an order for said material, so they instead powered their first test run with excess bioelectrical waste leftovers from previous experiments.
The results were in no way what they had anticipated. Each of the creatures that came to life that day had a mind of it’s own, a sense of ideals, of comprehension, and each was possessed with a want to fuck up whatever came in to their line of sight.
The first to distinguish their self as leader of the squad was Dux.
Thirsty for power he smashed open the back of his head like engine unit to make room for larger and more powerful equipment. Next was Anders, an ill tempered but loyal creature who was instantly Dux’s first choice for 2nd in command, his wide line of vision allowing him to defend attackers from any side.
Dallas was infused with anger from the moment of his creation in the fact that he was ‘incomplete’, components from his main form such as a cooling unit and aerial positioning unit forcing him to be ground based even with wings lead him to become the tactician for the unit.
This jealousy and self-hatred was only worsened by the appearance of his twin sister, perhaps the most dangerous of the group, Angelique.
That name was ironic to say the least, a cold-fusion killing machine without conscience or morality, an attack dog without a chain who took commands from none other than her kin.
The Squad became the stuff of nightmares for any poor sod who came in to contact with them, “death on wings” and “what the fuck is that, shit it got Tommy!” being a few of the names they were lumbered with by any who survived an attack.
