Post-SDCC Q&A with Andrew Speers of OldManMusings.com
TOYSREVIL had a post-SDCC Q&A with Andrew Speers (who runs OldManMusings.com) about his experiences at San Diego Comic-Con this year. (FYI: All images are linked to his Flickr-page).
TOYSREVIL: What do you think of this year's SDCC? Compared to previous years, or last years?
ANDREW SPEERS: Each SDCC gets better and I've been going since 2000. Each year it gets more polished and organized.
TOYSREVIL: What was your favorite aspect of SDCC this year?
ANDREW SPEERS: I've made many friends and met so many neat people over the years at SDCC, that I enjoy just going back each year to share in the fun with them. We all share a passion for the show and what we can find at the show.
TOYSREVIL: You have attended a number of panels. Which was your favorite and why?
ANDREW SPEERS: Going to the Sid & Marty Krofft panel was cool and also the Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness. I'm a fan of the old school shows and fun animation.
TOYSREVIL: What do you look for at SDCC? And did you find it this year?
ANDREW SPEERS: Friends, both old and new. People that share my interests. I look for cool toys too. I'm a longtime fan of Mr Toast.
ANDREW SPEERS: I have a great appreciation for a lot toys, but have so little toy shelf space anymore and having recently become a new dad, I've been collecting more comics and books to share with the baby.
