Jewel of the Valley by Solyar Dominica for CE Contest 2 (2012)
Solyar Dominica AKA Athisa Busayakanist shares with us some images and words about her chosen design for CE CONTEST 2. Solyar will be teaming up with Satoshi Yoshioka for the Final Battle to happen in Thailand from March 29th to 31st!
(A) Jewel of the Valley: "Jewel of the Valley represents the hidden beauty awaits to be discovered in the land far far away. Escaped from the chaotic civilization lies a pure and grace culture who praise and respect our mother of nature.
Jewel of the Valley is inspired by the northern tribes in Thailand. The colorful and charming heritage living among nature and beautiful scenery of Thailand northern part."
(B) "Recent years, the number of natural disasters increase astoundingly. We lose many lives and suffered so much. I feel that sometimes our civilization, our way of consumption are threatening the nature and those disasters are the warning.
Should it be the time for us, people, to look back and realize what we have done to mother of nature and start taking care of them in return.
So for me, This little tribal girl is like the symbol of nature caretaker who lives quietly in the land that nature and people lives together peacefully and grows up together."
