Tiger Translate Manila with Quiccs
WHAT-IS: Tiger Translate is a global creative platform that showcases the best in art, design, music & photography by creatives from the East & West. The 'mission' is to provide a creative space for the new and innovative in Manila's culture scene. (As well) Tiger Translate Global fuses visionaries from different ends of the world to showcase the best of emerging Asian creativity with work that challenges the status quo.

And in a recent tournament competition, 4 finalists were chosen to battle in pairs, with the winner of the event getting to represent the Philippines in the Global event in Tiger Translate: Mongolia.
The first round in December 2011 saw Nuno VS Ekis (with Ekis winning the online voting) and the 2nd battle seeing Quiccs VS Anjo (February 2012) with Quiccs winning online voting by a very slim margin (Check out the video below, and album here on Facebook).
In the 'Final Battle' (for which the images grabbed my attention, and hence this blog-feature) both winners on the earlier round went head-to-head, with Ekis vs Quiccs (April 2012) - where Quiccs won the on-the-spot voting of the crowd present in the event, and via Tiger Beer representatives from Singapore!
