Whispering Spirit by Bubi Au Yeung for KUSSO
From Bubi Au Yeung comes a brand new figurine dubbed: "Whispering Spirit" - created for Shanghai-based toy store KUSSO, as produced by How2Work. Standing 5.5 inches tall and made in polystone, production run is a total of 100 pieces (50 pieces with blue backpack, another 50 pieces with green backpack). I am really liking this design, and as well loving the notion that this showcases more of Bubi's diversity in designing characters, and yet is still able to retain her own style/mark on it.
STORY: 'Whispering Spirit talks to his best friend, "spirit", a lot and relies on him very much. "Spirit" is there for him always, especially when he got hurt or was lonely. One thing Whispering Spirit doesn't realize is, "spirit" is just his imaginary friend, and what he has always counted on is actually his own self...A lot of times, we survived with our endurance's backing, and nobody but us are our only best friends…'
