Custom Star Wars Boba Fett & Clone Trooper helmets for the 'As You Wish Project'
WHAT-IS: The 'As You Wish Project' is a charity art event featuring re-imagined Boba Fett and Clone Trooper helmets which will be exhibited at Star Wars: Celebration VI and then sold on eBay with all proceeds benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation. This project is sponsored by The Dented Helmet, eFX Collectibles and the 501st.
A selection of the customized-helmets first saw a display at the Star Wars pavilion circa SDCC, and the full array will be on display subsequently at the Dented Helmet booth / As You wish Exhibit at Star Wars: Celebration VI in Orlando, FL between August 23-26, 2012.
After the exhibition, the helmets will then be handed over to the Make-A-Wish Foundation who will be auctioning the helmets off, early in Sept 2012 on eBay, with 100% of the proceeds from this project are going to Make-A-Wish. To learn more visit; thedentedhelmet.com/asyouwish.
I am a huge fan of customized Star Wars helmets, since the Darth Vader helmets in The Vader Project and 2010's Storm Trooper helmets for the TK Project, so this is always a treat! And they are for charity too, so that's a WIN too! Here are some preview of the finished works:
