3A Toys x MARVEL 1/6 Figures
Posted on the 3A Toys-blog is this news-nugget:
No images exist yet for this 'announcement' - nevertheless shown below is a montage I made of cover-art for Ghost Rider 2099, Doom 2099 and even an X-Men cover, all done by Mr Wood for Marvel Comics over a decade back! I'm down for a "Ghost Rider" (with a 1/6 motorbike from Hell, of course)! LOL
"ThreeA is proud to announce it’s collaboration with Marvel Comics. That’s right! The house of ideas that is Marvel Comics and ThreeA, are putting their combined talents together to bring you one epic line of 1/6 figures.I kinda like the words "RE-IMAGINED" = because what is the point of recreating imagery already seen in the comicbook and movies? Sorta like a factory-production/manufacturing showcase and not "design", innit? Fond memories of the ZAKU and conversations I still have with friends, so here's looking forward to what 3A has to offer! Any particular picks from you, dear readers?
The line will consist of classic Marvel characters re-imagined by artist Ashley Wood in the ThreeA style. All the Marvel goodness that you already know and love, with an extra added twist. Releases will start in 2013." (Read the rest of the post here)
