Custom-Feature: The Cursed Idol by DeeTen (Lego Custom for the 1AM Gallery)
David Ten aka "DeeTen" (Store / Tumblr / Instagram @deeten) shares with us a recently completed piece for the upcoming Lego show being held my the 1AM Gallery in San Francisco; "Designing Putside The Lines". Coined "The Cursed Idol", this custom is decidedly different from DeeTen's usual steampunked-machinery-style, isn;t it?
"The piece was originally a Lego Torch. It stands more than a foot tall when the book is placed in on its stand. Super heavy piece … It's a little different from my regular style but I figure I should branch out from time to time. Hope you like it!" ~added David.
