Preview Peeks at Custom Munnys from Band of Doodlers for "Detention Class" @ Detention Barracks #bodindetention
I've been featuring the 2D illustrative arts from Band of Doodlers daily for a couple of weeks now, leading to tonight's launch of their group art show "Detention Class" @ Detention Barracks (56B Joo Chiat Place), and am also interested to see their custom pieces - and how they translate their creativity unto 3-dimensional forms - with Mini Munnys sponsored by Ozzo Collection!
Via the miracles of the Internet (and of course the hashtag #bodindetention on Instagram ;p), here are some choice WIPs of custom Munnys to expect at the show! And I am pleasantly surprised to see sculpted elements, rather than a straight-on doodle on an undulating canvas that which is the toy figure = *NICE*
Hopefully I'll be able to pop by the exhibition next week in the day, to see them up close for myself, and share with you folks more snaps :)
