A Peek at Booths (On Set-Up Day) for #DesignerCon 2014
I admit it. I am "obsessed". Or rather, I have been obsessed since I helmed my own booth(s) at the local convention. The notion to "dress up" your table / booth at an event to draw folks in to witness and purchase your works and wares; intrigues me.
There are folks who work with the bare necessities, to let the work "speak for themselves", and there are folks who go all out to make their booth a standout, a cacophony of colors to draw folks in, especially folks dwelling in this genre/ culture.
As a "retailer", you might have products galore to display, but as an independent artist / artisan, who can / could you do to make your display space visually attractive and enticing?
These are some snaps of booths/tables at DesignerCon 2014 - opening Nov 8th thru to 9th - for your visual senses, and as well perhaps "a reference" to how to do-over YOUR booth the next time you exhibit :)
