#Inktober2015 Artist Spotlight: ROBO OHNO (IG @robo_ohno)

TOYSREVIL: Do you have a particular THEME and preferred STYLE for your Inktober this year?

ROBO OHNO: "Theme - I've been playing a TON of Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros on the Nintendo Wii U lately. Since I see the characters almost everyday, I thought it would help keep me on track with the drawing challenge. So far it's worked pretty well!

Preferred drawing style - Man, I bounce all over the place with this one. I spend lots of energy on my ink illustrations, but I also paint and do digital art. I basically just focus on whatever style calls to me at that moment. I think I'm the most fulfilled when I'm able to ink a drawing and color it with my Copics. There's definitely something about the way a finished piece looks that makes me smile. :)"

TOYSREVIL: Please share with us your "tools" you use for your sketches.

ROBO OHNO: "For these Inktober drawings I use a Staedtler Mars Technico blue pencil to sketch, Micron pens to ink, and Copics to color when I have the time to do so."

A ten hour work day wasn't going to keep me from finishing this Dry Bones for #inktober!

TOYSREVIL: Which is your favorite illustration of 2015's Inktober?

ROBO OHNO: "It's definitely my Dry Bones drawing. I love Mario Kart like I love ice cream. A lot."
