Revealed at the recent STGCC2016 (Sept 10-11, 2016) was THE BACKPACK by Alex Pardee x Mighty Jaxx! On show was the fully colored prototype of figure(s) standing on a manhole-cover styled base.

Based on his earlier illustrations “The Backpack”, circa 2012 - now given a pair of legs, this 3-dimensional incarnation looks to be sized around 6 to 8 inches (?), tis unknown what material the final collectible will be made in tho.







Mighty Jaxx has done pretty well with polystone in the past, so I’d imagine that might be their go-to material … but with the recent Gold Life figures in PVC, as is the trend in PVC produced collectibles (which we can see in select Genesis4 releases as well), I would not rule that out, if only for a slightly lower price point … but of course I am being a selfish collector who wants to own such awesomeness! LOL
