The name “Karatekrab” is derived from the “Karateka” name of the game, and “krab” being a Thai-slang somewhat equivalent to Singapore’s “lah” irreverence, and used at end of greetings meant for males, like “Thank You, krab!”, with women using “ka” instead (ie: “Thank You, ka!”).
I had personally thought it meant “dude” all this while hahaha (i.e.: “Thanks, dude!”) hahaha
