POLAR KID (ASH Edition) by Aspen Crow
Ok, so this certainly caught my attention! @strangecattoys gives us a headsup of the avaialbility on their e-shop this "POLAR KID" by Aspen Crow.
"2020 will be the year devoted to a unique project where each sculpture and painting will centre on the problems caused by the climate change. ASPENCROW could not remain indifferent towards this issue. He decided to use his skills in order to attract people's attention to this problem. Each sale of an artistic work will also contribute support to the charitable organisations.
The topic of glacier melting was chosen for the first work "Polar Kid", because it is expected to lead to a 30% decrease of the polar bear population by 2050." (aspencrow.com)
Sized 30cm/13inches tall (x 24cm wide x 22cm deep), this ASH edition of PU resin (and flocked by the artist himself) collectible figure is available for US$580 per, with 50% of the artist's profit from each sale goes to the charitable organization "Polar Bears International".
Weighing in at approx 1kg/ 2.2 pounds per, this particular edition has a "Open Edition" figure run.
