KAWS CEREAL MONSTERS Hits Grocery Stores in The U.S.
With the cereal boxes hitting grocery stores in the U.S. (at least via Acme Markets / image via @lilmissmodel14), my previous blog-feature for KAWS CEREAL MONSTERS gets a resurgence in cyber-consciousness, and I'd wanted to catch folks up to speed with this feature, cheers.
As mentioned earlier, four Monsters Cereals figurines designed by KAWS based on existing characters from @generalmills (Frute Brute, Boo-Berry, Franken Berry and Count Chocula), are prizes in a U.S.-only based sweepstakes (www.kawsmonsters.com), for which there'll be "100,00 winners" to be had (Thanks for the info&screengrab, @afamilyoftoys).
With the purchase of the designated cereal boxes, folks will next email in the codes indicated in/on the box (instructions given) to participate in the sweepstakes. Sweepstakes ends on 12/1/22 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Winners will be notified via email by "December 2nd". HOW and WHEN that fulfilment might be another cycle of wait and hype LOL
FYI: I have had multiple comments left behind on my previous feature (which I;ve not approved of publication) mentioning they have "won", which is kind of sus, so don't buy into the hype until you actually SEE the items in hand, IMHO.
Folks (online) are already asking about the "value" of these figurines, and there are still a few good months in til December for folks to either speculate, or loose interest in. Regardless this "release" looks to be the most accessible and economical KAWS release yet! I wonder if anyone out there has been stocking up on the cereal boxes for the codes tho...?
