"We last showed MUMBOT in November 2017 as part of a 5-person show, but she has been busy expanding MUMBOT WORLD in every possible direction since: including producing vinyl toys, sofubi, pins, stickers, apparel, and plush — not to mention a successful endeavor issuing and selling digital collectibles (aka NFTs), founding the GHOST CLUB creative community, and having both an animated series pilot and an indie video game in development! ABOUT THE ARTIST: Jade Kuei, aka MUMBOT (instagram.com/mumbot / MUBOT on TOYSREVIL), is a NY/BKK-based artist, toy designer, storyteller & world builder.
In MUMBOT WORLD, she has created not only a brand, but a whole magical world & lore where original characters: Aughostus the Ghost, Mossy the Moss Spirit, Shumi Mushrumi the Mushroom Spirit, Girl From the Forest Floor, Cryspu the Crystal Spirit, Skully Bones, and more come to life.
MUMBOT has built the brand from it's early stages over 15 years ago — starting with drawing, painting, making zines, and hand-made plush and resin toys — to producing/manufacturing full collections of vinyl toys, sofubi, pins, stickers, apparel, and plush! Always evolving, Jade made a successful push into one-of-one and limited edition digital collectibles (NFTs) beginning in 2021 and also has both an animated series pilot and an indie video game in production.
