A brand new Full Trailer quite literally straightup explains what we'll be seeing on Netflix, for when "Parasyte: The Grey" KDRAMA premieres April 5th! Which is utterly needed, especially for folks like myself who is not at all familiar with both the manga source (Parasyte by Hitoshi Iwaaki), nor the Japanese films (2 of them) and anime, which actually works out, as while the premise somewhat is similar, the protagonists have changed, for both the female human host, and her female Parasyte/alien!
"Parasyte: The Grey" (기생수: 더 그레이) is directed by Yeon Sang-ho (Hellbound, Train to Busan) and starring Jeon So-nee, Koo Kyo-hwan, and Lee Jung-hyun.

I am quite fascinated with this, as much as I have not been a "fan" of the genre, but it reminds me of creations of Junji Ito and Hideshi Hino (primarily Unbox Industries-releases), and a more familiar MutantVinylHardcore and a entire universe of toy-creators I am unfamiliar with! I am wondering if more mass-media introductions to the genre would help said toy-genres get more eye-balls...? Figuratively speaking, of course ... :)
