TOYSREVIL: Tell us about the creation of Yuki-Onna and Sakura :)
ONI: The seasons are always used to represent life. Winter and fall are used to represent death and can make everything seem desolate and dark. Spring and summer used to represent rebirth, new life and beginnings. I wanted to show a literal translation of this as well. Yuki-onna is older, more wise and cold, representing death. Sakura is lively, young and flirtatious, representing youthfulness and innocence. The following prints, Summer and Fall will follow along those lines, fitting their season’s personality yet keeping each print just as sexy as the last!
