"Vela (the fully grown Arkski) left her homeland when a new king came to rule over the land of Arko. It had once been a peaceful place but since the new king came into power it was filled with war and hate. Many others fled along with Vela and she was separated from her family. Vela began to roam the world searching for her family and other members of her tribe. She carries her baby Mino on her back and found a youngster named Lumo who now accompanies her on her travels - an orphan whose family was slain in Arko.
