Silent Auction Begins for "PREATOBOT.0"
"…mankind has since abandoned earth but left its robot and android servants behind. The Androids thought of themselves to be the true heirs to humanity since they look more like them. So they enslaved the robots to do their bidding. But some robots feel that all of men's creations should be treated equally and start to rebel against the androids."
So begins the story of "Robots vs. Androids" from Hauke Scheer of Deep Fried Figures, for his new 3D-printed toyline. These are hand-painted and articulated figures, with the "hero" robots called "Preatobots".
This particular "Preatobot" is "special", and is now up for Silent Auction, with proceeds to help fund the continued survival of TOYSREVIL! How "special" is it? Here's what Hauke had to share with us:
"The figure you have has a slightly different color scheme then what I am using now. It was the first prototype and I was still experimenting with colors. So the figure is somewhat unique."
Bidding begins at US$45 minimum (excluding shipping+handling costs, to be borne by the buyer/winning bidder), and interested folks are to email me direct at "toysreviler [at] gmail [dot] com" with your desired prices (Subject title: "PREATOBOT.0"), and I'll attempt to update both my Instagram and Facebook image whenever prices get raised! (No names will be mentioned, no worries). Do note that I will not be updating you via emails though.
Bidding begins NOW, and ends 12noon on March 31st, 2015 (+8 GMT Singapore time). After which a sole winning bidder will be declared, whereby he/she will receive further instructions and costings, and complete the transaction via PAYPAL payment.
