Feb 17 Edition of Top Ten Blogposts the Past Week on TOYSREVIL
Start of a brand new week, and a brand new Top Ten Blogposts for the Past Week on TOYSREVIL, with this list dated "February 17th, 2020" - based on blog-stats recorded at 12noon - which in turn is based on YOUR reading+clicking choices! TOYSREVIL will be marking 15 Years this week (on the 19th), and it'll be interesting to see who makes next week's list ... ONWARDS~!
#10: #toylife: Toy-Excavation 2020 Begins in TOYSREVIL HQ, and one of the main reasons I've not be johnny-on-the-spot with toynews last week :p
Check out all hashtagged-images on Instagram: #toyexcavation, and as well "highlights" since uploaded HERE on Facebook!
#9: NOPPERABO The Faceless Yokai by Unbox Japan has since been listed for online sales here, in both Face & Faceless Editions!
#8: Valentine's Day GHOULHEAD has since been Sold Out!
#7: Igor Ventura's "DOS" Super Chase Dunny Revealed for Exquisite Corpse Dunny Series. Have you scored yours yet?
#6: "The Batman" Revealed in Matt Reeves' Camera Test, and the internet goes decently wild with screengrabs galore (I am no exception MWAHAHAHAHA) and desaturation of the intense scarlet-red filter, which no doubt signified "Valentines Day" (for when the camera test was revealed)... all it did was remind me of LOONA in "So What?", so... Heh.
#5: Threezero Does #TheWalkingDead's MAGGIE GREENE in 1/6, once again proving media-in-toys still bring in the eye-balls.
#4: Javier Jimenez Releases DIY Blanks & New Customizing Toys Video (and no the cat is not for sale :p).
#3: NanoTEQ x adidas SUPERSTAR LACELESS from Quiccs saw the first collaborative release, and we can look forward to two more years of goodness (Quiccs had signed a two year deal with adidas).
#2: The Coming of iBoy (Kickstarter) from Classicbot sees the iPod getting the "robot-with-magnetic-limbs" treatment, and it looks AWESOME!
#1: "GOLIMAR" (That "Indian Thriller"-Guy) from Special Ed Toys continues to dominate the TOP TEN!
And while the toy itself is no longer available, I am personally proud to see the "legacy" of toys remain in the public interest after they have sold out. The money earned would've helped funded more projects and your real-life there and then ... but to be remembered in some capacity after that, be it years or more, is something noteworthy, IMHO.
Thank You for Reading!
