I don't know if it's because they are "free"? Or if folks are actually keen to collect plush (whether it be a personal hobby enthusiasts, or meant to be lucrative ala secondary market Labubus or Hello Kitty :p), folks in Singapore are going gang-busters for MILO PLUSH!
Launched "April 23rd" in Singapore, there are essentially two "sets" to be had, coming with purchases of specific MILO products. As of this blog-feature, the 3 x piece BREAKTIME SET has since been listed as "SOLD OUT"!
The 5 x piece BREAKFAST SET (currently being "restocked") is available with MILO 3in1 and Gao Siew Dar promotional packs via local FairPrice, Cold Storage, Giant, Sheng Siong & Prime supermarkets.
I used to adore MILO beverage in my youth, with the thick(ish) cocoa-taste (provided I add heap-pulls to my cup lah) feeling luxurious and yet not as chocolaty-thick as "hot cocoa". MILO DINOSAUR was my go-to when I worked late and seeked supper with colleagues tho!
Nowadays I keep my diabetic-a$$ away from MILO, even as they taste different from my memories, adapting to consumers' tastes and healths, no doubt. So in essence I would have no reason to be procuring this set(s) for the beverage any time soon, and do not want to pay out my a$$ in the secondary market (which already has hit actually) LOL
There are also duffel bags and sticker packs to be had, cheers.
But honestly, what intrigued me the most, was the size of the plush (Is it huggable? Clippable to bags? Etc), which thankfully is revealed here:
MILO SG is no stranger to "toy collectibles", with numerous promotional releases thru the years, including figurines and cup clips, model vans and Van Mini Bricks for the masses...!
