QUICCS X DEVIL TOYS @ BLAXK (Part 1) & My First Impressions

One of the highlights (honestly, near EVERYTHING at the show is a "Highlight"!) was the full reveal of the "Campus Heartthrob" Edition of ASTRO BOY TEQ63, with this being the second colorway of the 10-inch tall VINYL figure to be released (First edition since SOLD OUT)! And while 24pcs were made available at the show in BLAXK, do stay tuned for further availability online details...!
While I constantly feature their toys and collectibles on this blog, I might not have had a chance to see them up-close-and-personal, and even so only when they appear in-person as event exclusive in Singapores, where I personally do not physically travel as much to be able to witness these said figure in-person, and having the opportunity to see them ALL lined-up and displayed at BLAXK, was both a jaw-dropping treat to my senses and emotional desires!
Having blogged about QUICCS' art since 2012 over a decade ago, and even had the good fortune to release TOYSREVIL-Editions of his character figures (SCARLET SABRE TROOPER, Evil King Machine, (Red Tide) TEQMON, the first incarnation of TEQ63, and more), seeing the fruits of his toy-art culminating in this current line-up in a combo-show with Devil Toys, was wondrous to witness, indeed!
As well I first featured "Devil Toys" for 1/6-releases back in 2014, for "Maxx.C & WOO"!, circa Taipei Toy Festival, and not stopped ever since!
Absolutely great to meet Quiccs and Carlo again, and jazzed to meet George for the first time (since "missing" to do so at Pop Toy Show 2024)! Congratulations all around for this show!
