I'd asked Ritchie of Pots N Toys for the inspiration for the creation of "POTT•O":
"Pott•o is a mashup of everything I am a fan of, comics, movies, TV shows, all rolled into a character that can tell endless stories.
Plants are my way of exploring infinite worlds, because just like animals, their shapes, colors, and personalities can be limitless.
The spark came when I saw one of my wife’s potted plants and thought: What if every fandom could have its own planter… with a story? That seed grew into Pott•o.
Oh, and that "blue liquid" seen on the edge of the pot, is "water" (or any life-sustaining liquid) keeping the organism on Pott•o’s head alive, shared Ritchie. "Without it, the plant couldn’t survive the journey between worlds."
