JRYU for DesignerCon 2025
Been a hot minute since we've had any JRYU art toy-action (at least on TOYSREVIL), but for the recent DesignerCon, he had a slew of releases (via the Scott Tolleson X Broke Piggy booth) for which I am excited to share here (post-event, no less). No indication of "post-event availability" tho...
ABOVE: "WNDGO K7" is apart of the Wendigo Hunt Blind Box Series 2 line-up. "(A) homage to Japanese super robots from the 70’s. I tried to mimic some of the paint style and stylings of toys from that era and chose a super rare jumbo machinder toy to depict."
BELOW: "Nephalim - Tear the World Asunder" is in an edition of 10.
ABOVE: "Shard of Ages" for SHARD SHOW is an edition of 10.
BELOW: "We’ll Get Through this Together" Ghost Girl and Micro Shard set, in an edition of 10. "The first in a series highlighting mini versions of my wonderful artist friends' characters. This debut edition is clear with pearl ghost dusting."
ABOVE: "Still Best Friends.." Shard is in an edition of 10. "Like last year’s all white version, this year’s 1/2 pound Shard is filled with 600 gems including lab grown diamonds, but with the new addition of amethyst, lavender, rose and red to give it a smattering of color."
JRYU's toy-artistry is sorely missed in this culture and I am personally glad and excited he is still "in the game". Looking forward to MORE! Stay connected:
