The Google-Got-Me-Down-Saga
UPDATED 2PM: So after a chillout lunch of chewy-Lamb Chop-fats and deliciously drenched coleslaw (neighbourhood kopi-tiam-style, yo!) - I came back to find all is fine with the cyberworld, logged-on without incidence, and technical boo-boos remedied post haste - *cool* ... meanwhile< if you want to find out what dramedy happened priors, do feel free to CLICKETH THRU :)
The Goggle-Got-Me-Down-Saga begun this early Sunday morn (around 1AM-ish) as I attempted to log unto my blogger, to begin my blogging-ritual - to find an insanely long download time on the blog-page - followed by the posting of this grammatically-challenged message. But with that attempt, I realized that I could still remote-blog (via flickr) but not thru logging-onto blogger itself.
A short period later, I realized no one else had problems with downloading my blog-page, but alas, my fell face-down to the muddied pavement with my damage-control attempts ... Becoz by then, I'd discovered that I could not make any changes to the post/s once they are remotely-published - including thisdouble-post and worse of all? bad html-coding (on my part) led to the bolding of all text after this post ~ *face-palm* ~. Also note that currently Blog-Comments cannot be published as well.
So really, tis not exactly a fab way to start my Sunday, but we'll see where this takes me...
Initial logging unto Google was a problem. After emptying my cache and cookies, and restarting the Mac, I've been able to now initiate Google-Search on my G4 Safari (which couldn't happen before). Ironically, I could access my Google-mail via my G3 Internet Explorer (running on OS.9 no less LOL) but am (as of this post) unable to access my Google-mail via the G4. (IF you're confused with the G4/G3-thingamajig - peep HERE).
Currently all mail and photo-submissions (for WHAT DID BERTIE SEE?-contest) can be directed to my yahoo-mail specified above.
The Google-Got-Me-Down-Saga contiues...
The morning rain had since stopped a short while ago, and the chill air-breeze whistling thru my bedroom window teases with a faint melody, beckoning me to head out for the day, the usually hot high-noon sun hidden behind milky clouds ... Or should I continue to remote-blog? Decisions will be made after I grab some grub, meanwhile, hoping everyone else is having a good weekend :)
