KAIKAI & KIKI Collectibles from Takashi Murakami for ComplexCon 2018
One of the yearly highlights for ComplexCon (at least for this blog and my attention) had been Takashi Murakami's collectibles (*Remember MR DOB / DOBtopus from 2017, and 2016's MR DOB?), with THIS year's focus on his KAIKAI & KIKI characters!
If you are unfamiliar with them, both characters are mascots to Murakami's own art production company "Kaikai Kiki LLC", founded by Murakami is 2001. Below video first featured circa 2007!
The last time folks saw the pair was the supersized sculpts for Gaoosian in Hong Kong (late-September), and now becomes a pair of collectibles from Saitama Prefecture, to be made available come Nov 3th & 4th, with further product and availability details forthcoming, I suppose... or you might want to stake out IG @complexcon for (possible) updates?
