TETSUO THE IRON MAN 'V2' TIMED 24 HOUR PRE-ORDER (Starts Feb19)
The SECOND colorway - dubbed "INDIGO IRON" - release of TETSUO THE IRON MAN has since been announced to be on Saturday February 19th online via the Unbox eShop, with this special 24 HOUR TIMED PREORDER starting via the following times:
HK: 23:00PM
JPN: 23:00PM
NYC: 10:00AM
LA: 7:00AM
The current hue gives the figure a slightly lighter palette (versus the previous hasher black, which hid more details of the sculpt, IMHO / See below IG-embed). Sized approx 10-inches tall, this hand-painted soft vinyl figure'll come polybagged with header (I am interested to see the artwork for this tho), priced at US$95 (excluding shipping), for a "May 2022" ship out.

Featuring design by Takashi Oda with production by Unbox Industries - check out more images of the figure, which shows said-figure holding the "drill" in his hands, which attaches unto its genitals, as it did the 1989 film directed by Shinya Tsukamoto (*Find out more HERE on POPCORNX), with this figure's creation explicitly inspired by said character.
And while I've not mentioned before (not online platforms which no longer exists, alas), but I had been a HUGE fan of Shinya Tsukamoto's celluloid work - from Tetsuo, right up to 2004's "VITAL" (which I literally blogged about twice, in April 2005 2005), and lost track of his work afters. The things we lose track of after 17 years of blogging is like a errand wash of seawave engulfing your subconscious, as you stand barefoot on sharpened pebbles of sand... stings a little, but I am intrigued, again. Maybe it's time for a relook of his works...
