my foie gras heaven

now, truthfully, i ain't a great "liver"-fan (except when stir-fried with ginger and beef; chinese style), much less "goose-liver" (altho i do parttake of the "dip/spread"-variety) ... and whenever i hear the word "foie gras" mentioned? tis sounds a tad hoity-toity (along with "caviar") to lil ol' simple "me" ... but i will gladly make an exception for Eclectic Attic's Pan-Fried Foie Gras, with Apple Chutney = becoz it is simply mofo heavenly! and for which i cannot recommend enough of! ... succulent-bugger simply just melts in your mouth like ... aiyoh! simply indescribable ...

Eclectic Attic's Tea Cosy (name of "restaurant") is situated on the 5th floor of Plaza Singapura, next to Spotlight ... the seat's ain't as comfy, im afraid - but the uber-friendly and unpretentious and dutiful service more than makes up for it. sure as heck as im gonna book a seat there this coming Valentine's Day (as long as i ain't gonna be on job/shoot *urgh*)!
been wanting to feature this a while back since the new year, but have not had any pictures to go with it ... and now? i leave you with some (hastily snapped) pictures:
the uber-yummy foie gras again - just looking at the pix makes me mouth water again lor!
tis the "afternoon tea" selection (available anytime as well!), with yummy foie gras spread, superb crispy duck and a coupla baked mushrooms with sun-dried tomatoes with cream cheese! the scones were nice too *heh*
the entree; Baked Mushrooms with Sun-dried Tomatoes were yummy and just about right for two persons.
more pics and tastes next time, when i get to put them into me mouth, and soon! *heh*
