more dragon tiger gate

ever since i mentioned about it in december, Dragon Tiger Gate has been shaping up to be quite a surprising and interesting celluloid-outing, what with newly released posters (nicely done too) [via monkeypeaches] and a coupla new behind-the-scenes offerings [via twitch].

the outrageously lavish studio-sets (even if it looks a rip-off of Kill Bill), techno-cranes and violent mass-orgy-fights are making this a flick i'd wanna be able to catch when it hits the screens ... altho i wonder if anyone'll be comingup with 12"-action figure adaptations of them? my personal vote is for DID (increasingly superb details), while i hope DML doesn't snag the license (increasingly slack in their work) ... but hey, there's always Hot Toys, innit? (they've already done a decent-ish Shawn Yue already, innit?)
