gashapon-grab-bag : designer chair collection
:: TOYS / GASHAPON ::
when i first saw images of the Designer Chair collection images online, i had excitedly thought that they were 1/6th-scaled ... but soon my hopes were dashed (im a sucker for 1/6th-scaled furniture lah) as i managed to procure one at a local toystore. here are my humble thoughts about it:

pretty decent material and finish, this vinyl-chair. boxed in an oversized blind-box assortment, mine was opened already. i reckon tis becoz they displayed the rest and this was a spare one (nothing new to the shop, unfortunately). the scale as shown in image-right, compared to my kitbashed 1/6th-scaled Lain action figure.

above image-left is the chair compared to an actual 1/6th-Vitra Museum Panton Chair (which i've gotten off ebay yonks ago) and definitely far from my initial hopes hahahaha ... and on image-right; is a be@rbrick sitting on the scaled chair.

The Designer Chair collection is produced by ReacJapan and there are two collections / "volumes" from the Interior Design Collection. and from what i see in the toyshop's display case (of volume.01) ~ the details are good and they look great, even tho they fit only be@rbrick-sized figures ~ *happy hunting!*
