as far as babelfishmangles translates it, this is how much information i've gotten so far about these Samurais from DID (Japan) [via]:
01. it's part of the "Warring States General" series
02. based on well-known Japanese generals from history.
03. it's a Japanese Edition limited to 500 serial units and no reproductions thereafter.
04. most parts are literally hand-made.
05. the (real) metal parts shown are as yet unpainted.
06. great emphasis put into the historical accuracy of the detailing.
07. real bird feathers were used for the arrows.
08. item to be released 25th July.
09. estimated price (sans retailer conditions) at 36750 yen.
and there's only two things i can say in this:
01. it's a gosh-darn beautiful piece of action-figure-art and history.
02. and it is well beyond my financial reach and wildest toy wishes. *sob*
