hot toy's 1/6 captain jack sparrow and captain sao feng

now, Hot Toys has gotten the license to do 1/6th-versions of Captain Jack Sparrow and Captain Sao Feng, from Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End!

*my take on the figures and news, after the jump*

Chow Yun Fatt in his Captain Sao Feng pirate-gear would be is a no-brainer:

and since it is an "official" adaptation/license, we can only hope the likeness would be dead-on, yeh? - as for the costume and gear (swords?), one can only hope for the detail and quality put into previous figures, like Predator et al, innit?
but the "trick" with Captain Jack Sparrow, i reckon, would be the quality of the headsculpt - becoz if ya can't do it as kickass as Kojun's? don't bother it'll haveta be as "wow" as Medicom's release [reviewed on MWCToys], if not better, IMHO.

and as for the "clothes", im really hoping for something other than his regular Pirate-gear (released to death during Black Pearl/Dead Man's Chest). the above image would probably be of Sparrow dressed-up "undercover" in Chinese pirate gear ... here's hoping he has something else to change into, in the film, yeh? *heh*

TOYWISHLIST:
that they might "expand" the license (eventually), with a "logical" follow-up of a "Will Turner", seeing that they already have a quasi-Orlando Bloom headsculpt, innit?

... but then again, maybe not ... *heh*

and seriously, would would really be nice, would be an "Elizabeth Swann"/Keira Knightly 1/6th figure, dressed in her pirate-finest, as seen in these promo-images [here]
