Peeped on Toy-World a mag-scan of a possible upcoming variant of Hot Toy's 1/6-scaled M-Icon James Dean dubbed the RED JACKET VERSION - as seen in "Rebel Without A Cause", featuring a blonder-haired headsculpt (compared to the COWBOY-version) and of coz the iconic red jacket (note: Image has been reformatted by me):
No further information at this point in time tho. The last time a 1/6 figure like that was released was Mattel's James Dean American Legend [fig pic via] - which I had the good fortune (sorta) of grabbing a few years back (shoulda grabbed more as it was on sale) which to this day, has been stripped apart and used for different kitbashes/customs, like so (far-right):
