OhNo!Doom opens March 5th with "Sugar & Splice," a 4-person show featuring a collection of painted works from Aya Kakeda (New York), Jason Limon (San Antonio), Jeremiah Ketner (Chicago), and Yoko d'Holbachie (Japan). Saturday, March 5th will see the Opening Reception for Gary Baseman's new solo art show; “Walking through Walls” @ Jonathan LeVine Gallery in New York City. Akso look out for the Afterparty at Lit Lounge, featuring more of "Nightmare and the Cat (band plays at 10:15pm) at Lit Lounge. Guests who come to the gallery opening can get in for free. Others pay US$6 at the door. Shown here are previews of Gary's artwork, which showcases a much darker color palette from his past, as well you can read about his show "manifesto" on Printmag.com. And there's a release of limited edition tee-shirts and letterpress commemorating this new exhiibition ~ to be made available online via www.garybaseman.com from March 8th Tuesday.

To celebrate the fifth anniversary of DEVILROBOTS ~ there is currently an exhibition at LCX ~ "The Perfect 5" (thru to April 10th) which features never been seen in Hong Kong, skateboards and DEVILROBOTS Special ToFu.

As well there is an online contest for folks to choose their fav submitted tofu-drawings. All you need to do is click "Like" on the images (to be posted soon via Facebook) and email in your Facebook user name + your name + phone number (in English) to harharcitizen@gmail.com before April 13th, with the subject title: "我的豆腐人設計比賽" (Yes, it is in the Chinese language).

Haven't heard from James Jarvis and Amos Toys for quite a while now (my personal online trek thru my past online posting also reminded me of my unsated desires for Jarvis figures) and then I came across this giant CALEB standing at the side of this stage concert for the weekend Tokyo ATP/Creative Man event (circa Feb 27 @ Shinkiba Studio Coast). As well a coupla snaps of their first "Amos Miniature Plastic Workshop" hosted by One Gram, featuring A4 drawings from Jarvis. Sweet.
