1/6 Plastic-Crack-Addicts Feature: Nick Talbot & His WW2 Germany Soldiers Collection
We used to call folks addicted to the 1/6th-hobby as likened to addicted to "Plastic Crack" ("Crack" being a drug, with "Plastic" being the material make of our beloved man-dollies - which we never claim to be "dolls"). I have since found a group of select "Plastic Crack Addicts", and would like to present their collections to all to share.
Today's PCA-member is Nick Talbot! Hailing currently from Singapore, Nick is also a toy-addict. Today we see 1/6th-scaled figures from Nick which delves into WW2 history … from here on in, Nick relates to us via his own words:"Hi, My name is Nick, & I first got bitten by the 1/6th figures when I was about 6 years old. My American neighbours showed me their GI Joes. I was already into plastic soldiers & militaria, but the GI Joes were a bit out of my league cost wise."
"Now I am an adult ( albeit with the mentality of a 14 year old) I now buy all the figures I can. I have a better collection in storage back in Australia, but these are ones I have bought since being here in Singapore. I haven't finished my collection & have 2x 1/6 kits to build to add to the Kettengrad, a Schwimmwagon & a Pak38 anti-tank gun. Also, I'm not into Nazis, I just like the toys."
Nick also shared with us a video link which I reckon you might find "interesting" - especially if you are into WW2 German soldier-collecting and/or 1/6th scale military modelling …
