PARTIAL-PRESS: Weta announces the conception of a collectibles line for Paramount Pictures' Motion Capture Film The Adventures of Tintin. Revealed by Paramount at the weekend's Licensing International Expo in Las Vegas, a 1/6 scale statue of Captain Haddock is the first product to be launched in this line.

The Weta statue of Haddock is a 1/6 scale polystone resin statue created from the actual digital model made by Weta Digital for the new movie The Adventures of Tintin, and was finished and prepared by the artists at Weta Workshop. Standing 11.8" tall and weighing in at 1Kg, Haddock the statue is available for pre-order at US$199.00 here - limited to no more than 2,000 pieces, with each piece individually numbered.
