I first noticed this figure seen at the DKE Toys booth at SDCC
- but this headsup from Katrina made it all-so-clear! Thanks!)

The name of the figure is BOPBO and what he does is he literally bops his head to music beats, if placed next to a speaker or music source. "The Bopbo is programmed to detect and analyze different beat algorithms and will bob it's head accordingly; 1/2 beats, syncopated beats, and pauses included!" - mentions the description on the figurine's Kickstarter page.

Conceived by Jason Gouw and David Zhen, Bopbo stands 6.5 inches tall and comes in a blank white vinyl figure ready to be customized. Sweet. Check out more images on the crowdfunding-page. Folks who pledge will also stand a chance to score an exclusive "Kickstarter Green" colorway.
