CONCEPT: The idea began while i was sketching concepts for a personal project about dwarfs and goblins building personal minions were the dwarfs build the mechanical bodies and the goblins put in the brains and work the organic parts.

DESIGN: The "Bud"s are simple quick builds by the dwarfs, so I was aiming for them to look like an antique cooper beer tank like the ones used in old refineries since hey, dwarfs love beer.

BUILD: I choose the Rooz since the shape of it was quite similar to the image i drew (I didn't draw it with the rooz in mind so it was a nice find), so I started by cutting the excess shape in the front of the nose and removed the ears, discarded the arms since they were too tiny for what I was aiming for and built two new simple arms in sculpey and used aluminum wire to add a nice touch to them.

Built the legs with some toy spare parts and sculpted the feet, also built the furnace door by heating a pvc sheet and blowing it into shape.

The back was built with soft wood in planks to look like some sort of barrel so it could hold the battery and switch.
It has three leds, one red inserted in a clear resin cast I made to simulate ignited coal and two leds for the eyes.
It was fully painted in copper and weathered with acrylics and detailed parts in gold.
