Bert & Ernie Steampunk'd & 8-Bit'd by Evan Cheng (for New York Comic Con 2011)

From Evan Cheng comes a series of designs (which he worked on with fellow designer Vanessa Germosen - who laid down colors on the steampunk pieces and props and backgrounds on the 8-bit pieces) for which he did the character work for - and I love'em! Steampunk Bert is with his pigeon Bernice. Steampunk Ernie is with his Rubber Duckie. 8-bit Bert and Ernie is paying homage to Super Mario Bros. You can bug Evans about them when he makes an appearance at New York Comic Con where both of them will be sketching 'live' at booth #2013 - from 2pm-4pm on Friday - go looksee and tell them TOYSREVIL sent'ya!
