McDonald's Hello Kitty Plush 2012
And while I am not exactly gagging for a McDonald's Hello Kitty plush - never let it be said folks in Singapore do not adore plush toys, and in this particular instance, Hello Kitty makes a comeback with a quartet of designs to choose from! And with the Hamburglar-design released not too long ago, McDees has started a Facebook-based contest whereby you submit pictures of your kitty (along with a caption) for a chance to win $50 gift certificates every Monday (from May 28th onwards). Email them to mcdhellokitty@gmail.com and check out image samples here on their FB.
Interesting to see the response to this - as much as "we" might tout the advent of "designer plush toys", the acceptance of plush (or as we used to term them locally "soft toys") is actually pretty rampant in Singapore and I suspect Asia as well - but sadly it is mostly about the 'cost' versus personal taste in parents - but hey, what could go 'wrong' with SG$3.60?
You don't see the children fighting over the Hello Kitty plush, don't you? Heh.
