The Reveal of JeAA R.A.D.C.O.M. IRON MISSIONARY for Thailand Toy Expo 2013
John Eugene Atendido Avila's IRON MISSIONARY 1/6 figure sees an unveil, and news of it being slated for a display debut at the coming Thailand Toy Expo via JP Toys (previously teased HERE. This 1/1 edition piece will be showcased alongside original box art and printed artwork, but is NOT FOR SALE. See more images here and on the JeAA-Facebook. Intrigued by the name, and "Robinson-Crusoe" styling and aesthetics (and the blaster hand, actually) - I had asked John Eugene for the story of this build, to which the answer was surprising:
""HOPE of children of before and sanctuary of the childhood memory. Only one existed. The protection for the foreign treasure and years of service must be rewarded." - Dedicated to Mali
I still believe that there is still a way for Mali to stay. I made the Iron Missionary as symbol of HOPE and Protection. "Mali" is the name of the one and only Philippine elephant. Originally from Sri Lanka. Philippines has no Elephant of its own. Its was a gift of the Sri Lankan Government to the Philippines. Mali has been asked to move to Thailand on an Elephant sanctuary because of the issues that PETA filled against the management of Manila Zoo (Read)."
