Mushroom People by Gorgoloid (Nov 18 sale)

Releasing Monday, November 18th at 6pm PT (9pm ET) on gorgoloid.com are MUSHROOM PEOPLE from Gorgoloid. Priced at US$30 each, each figurine stands 2.75" tall, and is hand cast, dyed with Monsterkolor and hand painted (with the exception of one clear). Each one will come signed and bagged with header card - featuring a painting by Marcus Gannuscio (featured here). "This will be a blind bag release of the run of 12 figures. Each one will be randomly selected and mailed out."

"As an homage to one of my all time favorite movies and sources of inspiration, Matango, and a general interest in mycology mythology and stories, I decided to make a mini sculpt of a Mushroom kaiju. The stories and folklore of mystical spores are numerous in many cultures, from the mountains of Japan to indiginous tribes of North America, and the inevitable blend of humans and mushrooms would weave into tales for countless centuries.
