Who watches the Watchmen? Catch Watchmen Chapters I & II, a faithful animated adaptation of the iconic graphic novel! The Clock is Ticking...



After watching the trailer, all my mind was swirling with: "Holy FkCakes, they animated the source material", with the art-style of Dave Gibbons being lifted off the pages of the 1986/87 comicbook...! And dare I say the palette veered awards the art of colorist John Higgins on the comic?

Go find the source, or borrow it from the library, if you are unfamiliar with the graphic novel written by Alan Moore, why doncha?

Folks who whine on about Zack Snyder's shot-by-shot adaptation of the comicbook page in the 2009 live-action feature film incarnation, might get a kick out of this, methinks!



According to Wikipedia, Warner Bros. had announced in April 2017 that it was developing an R-rated two-part animated film based on the comic book. A teaser trailer was released 7 years later, on June 13, 2024. Having been published in 1986, WATCHMEN is around 38 years old now. I wonder how much would be/could be changed to suit the times? Besides having black undies for Dr Manhattan (in Vietnam)... I'm sure somehow somewhere someone(s) trying to ask Alan Moore how he feels, but we know that already, don't we? Hyuks :p
