TOYNEWS SUBMISSION: Philip Lee of playsometoys shares with us toyword of his latest creation, which he shared "...this model holds a special place in my heart as it was the first computer in my household!" Introducing the "Classicbot IIe"!

Inspired by our beloved classic IIe computer, this adorable robot figure brings a nostalgic twist to your desk. Classicbot IIe, standing at just 8.5 cm, features track-style feet reminiscent of those seen on robots from classic sci-fi TV shows. It also features detachable arms and tracks. Switch him from a robot to a faithful scale model of the iconic classic computer in seconds.

The IIe comes equipped with a Duodisk 5" floppy drive. All the details from the classic computer are faithfully recreated, including all the ports at the back.

Since the IIe is a very old model, we expect it to have a smaller fan base. Each Classicbot IIe will be handcrafted in resin in small batches and priced at US$85 due to its unique, workshop-based production.
