SQUID GAME Tokyo Pop-Up Store @ Toy Sapien Japan



Remember the early days when there were hardly any collectibles/toys for SQUID GAME, save for non-licensed bootlegs of hanging plush bag-charms and rubber-made toys...? Then came the deluge of indie-made appropriated toys, higher-end priced collectibles and action figures...



With Season 2 of the Netflix series "Squid Game" around the corner, expect a new deluge of products to be had, available at the official pop-up store will be held at Toy Sapiens in Japan!

Predominently from Hot Toys and Beast Kingdom, here is a look at what collectibles can be had, with a whole line-up of merch to be viewed here!



XL Sized YEONHEE COSBI (30-32cm tall) with a half-mecha design (¥25,000 each) looking hella fun! Is this a SPOILER for the KDRAMA?



"Squid Game" COSBI SERIES 1 (¥2,000 each) for in-store preorder, consisting of 8 character figures (each approx 7–9 cm tall), including the piggy-bank of WONS hang from the ceiling! I doubt if there are "blind boxes" tho, and will be window-boxed ala their usual Cosbaby/Cosbi-releases...?



YEONHEE PIGGY BANK from Beast Kingdom feels like such a fun "chubby Kubrick" lol ... Preorderable in-store for ¥25,000. Their "piggy banks" are regularly pretty "big" (approx 24-31cm tall?), so this might take a prominent space on your display, methinks :)



In-store advance sale of GAME BARRELS (also from Beast Kingdom), with 2 types to be had, each ¥4,500.

In addition to figurines and stuffed toys, there'll be a range of related goods in Japan, including household goods and fashion items. Furthermore, there is a photo spot in the store where you can enjoy the world of the "Squid Game"!!

Located at TOY SAPIENS TOKYO, the timed-event opens December 31st 2024 and exhibits thru February 23rd, 2025 (11am-7pm / last entry 6:30pm). Happy Toy Hunting, folks!
