My Melody & Kuromi (Stop Motion Series Coming to Netflix)
"MY MELODY & KUROMI" is a upcoming new stop-motion animated series directed by Tomoki Misato, written by Shuko Nemoto, and produced by TORUKU from WIT STUDIO. "Rivals" or "Lovers", both Sanrio characters has always been linked such, so will we be "finally" be able to see a "answer"?
A teaser trailer & poster image has been released for the "July 2025"-premiere on Netflix. The series celebrates the the 50th anniversary of My Melody and the 20th anniversary of Kuromi!
As much as I am a "Kuromi"-fan (currently resisting adding blind boxed figures to my hoard LOL), and np doubt Melody had been a fav to tons of folks I know of, this might well be an anticipated project to look forward to, in the fine enjoyment tradition of "Rilakkuma & Kaoru", "Pokémon Concierge" and the mix media "Gudetama: An Eggcellent Adventure"!
